Terms of Service

Last updated: March 15, 2026

These Terms of Service describe the rules for using ClassPoint, including access to the platform, customer responsibilities, acceptable use expectations, payment references, and the limits that apply to service availability and liability.

Permitted use of the platform

ClassPoint provides school management software for Nigerian schools. The platform may be used to manage school operations, including records, attendance, results, parent access, communications, fee-related workflows, and structured administrative processes.

By using the service, each school and user agrees to use ClassPoint only for legitimate school, educational, or administrative purposes consistent with these Terms.

Accounts, credentials, and access

Schools are responsible for assigning access only to authorized staff, parents, and other approved users. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their credentials and for activity that occurs under their accounts.

ClassPoint supports role-based access controls, but schools remain responsible for their own internal approval, account assignment, and user-management decisions.

School responsibilities and acceptable use

You may not misuse the service, interfere with other schools, attempt unauthorized access, upload harmful material, or use the platform in a way that compromises security, privacy, or operational stability.

Schools are responsible for the data they enter, the notices they send, the permissions they grant, and their compliance with applicable obligations relating to the operation of their school and their handling of personal information.

Pricing and payments

ClassPoint may offer paid plans, free trials, and term-based pricing. Pricing information published by ClassPoint is subject to update, and schools are responsible for reviewing the current plan terms before subscribing or renewing.

Where payments are processed through integrated providers, schools agree that payment processing may be subject to additional provider terms and verification steps.

Service availability and limitation of liability

ClassPoint works to maintain a reliable service, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed. The platform may be affected by maintenance, third-party outages, internet failures, security incidents, or operational issues outside our direct control.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClassPoint provides the service on an as-available basis and limits liability for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or business-interruption losses arising from use of the platform.

Updates and contact

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the platform after updated terms are published means the school or user accepts the revised terms.
